The Curse of Being Eddie G.

I don't want to hate her. For if I do, I'll only end up hating myself...

Ye who seek for audience, let ye speak now!

Is she conjoined to you?

hate's a funny thing. it hurts you more than anything else.

hate is such a strong word...to hate someone is tiring...but being disappointed by someone/dissappointing someone to me, hurts more than anything else in dis world...

hate is only a temporary feeling.
you will overcome it one day soon.
and mushroom is right, hating someone is tring; all your emotions and feelings concetrated in the wrong place.
it brings you down, you start to forget the better things in life that are going by you.

and as the summer's ending,
the cool air will put your hard heart away.
you were so condescending..
and this is all that's left:
scraping paper to document.
i've packed a change of clothes and it's time to move on.

Hate is a catalyst. Use it for something good.

death cab for cutie rocks socks.

and i beg to differ fik. it's a great catalyst, but I don't know if it could ever create something good. we should learn to tolerate, not re-channel hate.

But tolerance is not the same as letting go. One can tolerate without letting go, and on the flip-side if you let go, there will be nothing left to tolerate, so Fikri's concept of "re-channeling" may possess some truth in it. Hate, like energy, cannot be created nor destroy, merely transfered.

However, I wouldn't exactly say it's a catalyst either. A catalyst is a reagent that speeds up chemical processes without getting chemically involved. As for hate, it may quicken you, but when the rush dies down, it takes something away with it as it does, and usually it is something dear.

Thanks people for your words of encouragement. And no suspiciousbastard, she isn't cojoined to me. It's more complicated than that. Regardless, finding love is a goal that is but penultimate.

Rechannelling hate can be a way to tolerate. Can it lead to darkness? Yes it can. But can it also lead to good? I think so too.

Hey, this has nothing to do with your topic du jour, but you're very funny. I'm also a Msian/Sporean halfbreed - born Msian, educated in Spore. Now in UK suffering from an identitiy crisis.

Hey Sarah.

Finally! Someone I can relate to! For the first time in my life, the snide remarks that I've been putting up with (i.e. Turncoat, half-past-six bugger and Malaygaporean) actually have turned out worthwhile hehehe. Thanks for leaving your comment. I'll be visiting your blog pretty soon.

Cheers!
